What We Do
Product Design and Engineering
Build the product properly, on foundations that will still work when it grows.
For founders building something new, and for established organisations building a product for their market or their own operations.

Who this is for
- You have a validated idea and limited capital, and you cannot afford to build it twice.
- You have a prototype that proved the concept and now needs to become a real product.
- Your organisation needs a product that no off-the-shelf system does properly.
The problem
Most first builds fail for one of two reasons. Either the scope was never written down, or the product was built quickly on foundations that could not grow. Both mean paying twice.
How it works
- 01Discoverywe establish what the product must do, for whom, and what it must not do.
- 02Designwe design the experience and test the thinking before writing software.
- 03Architecturewe choose foundations suited to where the product is going, not only where it starts.
- 04Buildwe develop in phases and show you working software regularly.
- 05Provewe test for function, security, accessibility and real use.
- 06Launch and supportwe release carefully and stay involved afterwards.
What is included
- Discovery and documented requirements
- User experience and interface design
- Clickable prototypes for testing
- Web application development
- iOS and Android applications
- Windows desktop software
- Systems architecture and technical design
- Testing, accessibility and security review
What you receive
- Documented requirements and acceptance criteria
- Design files and a clickable prototype
- Working software, released in phases
- Source code and intellectual property, as agreed in writing
- Test results and accessibility findings
- Deployment and handover documentation
- An agreed support arrangement
Typical timescales
A focused first version usually takes three to six months from discovery to launch. Larger platforms take longer and are delivered in phases, so that value arrives before the end. We will give you a phased plan in writing before development begins.
