Our Products

We build for clients. We also build for ourselves.

Where we find a problem worth solving properly, we build the product and operate it ourselves, rather than waiting for someone to commission it.

Why we do this

  • 01

    It proves the capability.

A live product in real use is stronger evidence than a list of delivered projects.

  • 02

    It sharpens the craft.

Operating a product exposes you to support, scale, reliability and edge cases that project work rarely reaches.

  • 03

    It builds durable value.

Service revenue is earned again every month. Product value compounds.

  • 04

    It keeps us honest.

We recommend to clients only what we are prepared to live with ourselves.

Our Products

Aethelbridge Care

Aethelbridge Care is a digital care, safety and coordination platform. It connects four groups of people: the person receiving support, the family around them, the verified care professionals who visit, and the care organisations that provide teams. It brings daily wellbeing check-ins, medication support, emergency assistance, verified professional care and an auditable record of what was done into one place.

We built it because families supporting a relative at a distance have no reliable way to know how the day has actually gone, and no straightforward route to arranging trusted help when more is needed. Existing tools solve one piece of that. None of them solve the whole of it.

What operating a product teaches you

Building software and running software are different disciplines. Running it teaches you what happens when a notification fails silently, when someone uses a feature in a way nobody anticipated, when a regulation changes, or when a user cannot complete something obvious because the contrast is slightly wrong. Those lessons go back into every client engagement we take on.

  • Consent modelling that holds up when four different parties need different views of the same record.
  • Professional verification that expires, and therefore has to be monitored rather than checked once.
  • Accessibility for people who are not confident with technology and did not choose to use it.
  • Support expectations when the system matters to someone’s daily wellbeing.
  • Evidence and audit trails that satisfy a party who was not present.

Future products

We will build another product when four things are true: the problem is genuine and widely felt, existing solutions are weak or absent, we hold or can build the necessary competence, and we are prepared to operate it rather than merely launch it. We do not announce ventures before they are real.

What this means if you are a client

You are working with people who are building and will run their own product, so we make every architecture and support decision knowing we will live with it ourselves. That discipline goes into every client engagement.
